Maria Andrews (Mape) Photographer. Born in Barcelona, Spain
Maria Andrews (a.k.a. Mape Esteve) is a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute. She studied with photographers Larry Sultan, Pirkle Jones and Jim Goldberg and painters Inez Storer, Carlos Villa, Bruce McGaw, Irene Pijoan, Sam Tchakalian and Pat Klein. Maria, or Mape as most people know her by, is an experimental photographer and her work is in several private collections.
Mape and her husband Larry share their time between San Francisco and Barcelona.
